Summary of Role
Join GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Technology Development Program Manager and lead the creation of tomorrow’s semiconductor innovations. In thishigh‑visibilityrole,you’llorchestrate complex,cross‑functionaldevelopment programs—unitingworld‑classengineering teams to bring breakthrough technologies from concept to qualification, shaping the future of our global technology roadmap.
Essential Responsibilities
As aTechnology Development Program Manager, you will takeend‑to‑endprogram ownershipfortechnology‑drivendevelopment programs within our Fab8inMalta.
Program & Project Leadership
Plan, manage andmonitorcomplex Technology Development programs (within PMA/TPPgovernance).
Own scope, resources, schedule, budget, and risk management.
Ensure alignment with MRD/PRD targets and internal quality standards.
Cross‑FunctionalLeadership
Collaborate closely with Device, Integration, Yield, AME, Operations, IE,QAand other technical teams.
Lead core teams and drive alignment across all program phases.
Influence stakeholders effectively without formal authority in a highly technical environment.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Prepare and conduct program reviews (e.g., PMA, TPC, gate reviews).
Manage changes, escalations, and risk mitigation.
Represent the program to senior management, global teams, and customers.
Structure, Governance & Process Execution
Apply and contribute to the enhancement of PM tools and processes (e.g., MS Project, Anaplan, Clarity).
Drive continuous improvement of workflows, KPIs, reporting, and governance.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science, or comparable technical field.
Several years of experience in semiconductor technology, technology development, or complex technical project work.
Strong understanding of FDX technologies, semiconductor process flows, or process integration.
Experience & Skills
Proven success in leading complex technical projects or programs.
Strong analytical capabilities and a structured,results‑orientedway of working.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills across multiple hierarchical levels.
Ability to drive clarity and decisions in dynamic and technically challenging environments.
Personal Attributes
Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
Ability to translate complex technical content into structured program plans.
Enjoyworking in global, interdisciplinary teams.

Expected Salary Range
$143,000.00 - $247,000.00
