Summary: GlobalFoundries is a leading full-service semiconductor foundry providing a unique combination of design, development, and fabrication services. They are seeking an intern for the Business Strategy and Planning Group to support financial metrics and analysis across various functions of the business. Responsibilities: - Build solid financial models to support business decisions by collaborating with various stakeholders (e.g. investment cases) - Responsible for the strategic planning for the company including but not limited market strategy, long-term revenue growth strategy, cost strategy and capital investment strategy - Develop clear and logical arguments for or against specific business opportunities - Provide support in establishing processes and methodologies for managing projects and project portfolios, including set-up and day-to day activities - Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Required Qualifications: - Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing Bachelor's, or Master's in Finance, Economics, Business or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship - Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing - Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) - Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship Preferred Qualifications: - Prior related internship or co-op experience - Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc - Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong planning & organizational skills Required Skills: Financial modeling, Strategic planning, Market strategy, Revenue growth strategy, Cost strategy, Capital investment strategy, Project management Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: One-on-one mentorship, Professional development opportunities, The chance to network with executives
