Financial Analyst
$90,000 to $100,000 DOE
Greenwood Village, CO - Hybrid
The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, preparing, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual business results. This role monitors performance against budget and plan, provides insightful financial analysis, and partners with business leaders to support sound decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results; monitor performance versus budget and forecast.
- Partner closely with finance leadership and business line management to ensure results and variances are reported and analyzed in alignment with approved business plans and any subsequent changes.
- Maintain and enhance financial forecasting, planning, and investment models used by the Finance organization.
- Support the development and preparation of annual business plans and budgets, as well as periodic strategic and long-range planning initiatives.
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections, including professional services revenue forecasts and software development investment requirements.
- Resolve complex or highly technical analytical issues and assist others in strengthening analytical and research capabilities.
- Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, and summarize financial information and develop recommendations related to financial plans, future requirements, and operating forecasts.
- Partner with business leaders to provide proactive financial analysis and reporting that drives effective business decisions.
- Lead and support continuous process improvement initiatives across the finance organization and key business partners.
- Leverage a strong working knowledge of back-office accounting and finance systems, including forecasting and planning tools, general ledger systems, and business intelligence platforms, to support analysis and reporting.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
