Position Overview
The Development Operations Manager equips relational fundraisers with the tools, information, and materials needed to secure significant gifts, communicate giving impact, and effectively engage donors throughout the donor journey and lifecycle. This role removes operational friction, strengthens stewardship, and ensures relational fundraisers are prepared and focused on deepening donor relationships.
Working cross-functionally with Field Operations, Field Story, IT, and MarCom, this role builds efficient, scalable processes that improve donor engagement, strengthen Moves Management, and provides clear visibility into pipeline health.
Core Responsibilities
Donor Impact Reporting & Proposal Development
- Own the creation of clear, accurate, and timely impact reports
- Build and maintain a systematized impact reporting library aligned to donor interests and funded initiatives
- Translate field data, stories, photos, and financial information into donor-facing narratives that demonstrate stewardship and results
- Work with cross-functional partners to use AI to systemize and automate the proposal and impact report building process
- Work with the MarCom team to ensure donors are receiving the optimal solicitation and cultivation materials across email, direct mail, texts, etc.
- Have a working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM) workflows in order to help relational fundraisers identify opportunities for engagement
Donor Research & Briefing Support
- Prepare concise donor briefs ahead of meetings, synthesizing relevant background, giving history, meaningful insights, and interests
- Partner with the Prospect Researcher to surface prospects from donor file for Reps portfolios
- Work with Field Ops team to ensure there are programmatic offers available for donors to fund
Event & Logistics Support
- Support logistics for select donor briefings or small gatherings
- Secure venues and ensure all material and resources for the event are in place
- Produce collateral, presentations, and other donor facing material
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in project management and/or donor development roles
- Experience working in a fundraising environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve efficiency, synthesis, and content development
- Experience with CRMs and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing, time management, planning, and organizational skills with an emphasis on detail and accuracy
- Strong professional customer service orientation and communication skills
- Passion for the mission of supporting persecuted Christians
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will work with internal personnel and contractors but is not immediately expected to have direct reports.
Work Environment
This job operates in a home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Some travel may be required for this position.
