Business Development Associate - Industrials at GLG in New York, NY

Summary: GLG is the world’s leading platform for trusted human expertise, and they are seeking a Business Development Associate to support their Industrials team. The role involves generating and qualifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospects, and collaborating with the Business Development Manager to drive sales of GLG subscriptions. Responsibilities: - Research target accounts and contacts to identify key decision-makers and their specific jobs to be done/pain points - Conduct personalized outreach via email, cold calling, and LinkedIn to prospects at key new logos - Engage prospects in conversations to understand their business challenges, needs, budget, authority, and timeline - Articulate GLG's value proposition clearly and concisely, focusing on how it solves the prospect’s problem - Maintain daily/weekly activity targets Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 1-2 years of demonstrated success selling information services and solutions via phone, email, and consultative selling - The ability to quickly establish rapport with key decision makers in prospective firms - Ability to work well independently and be self-motivated - A strong passion for persuasion, especially around complicated and intellectually challenging issues - Superior verbal communication skills - Excellent attention to detail - A demonstrated ability to read and understand people Required Skills: Consultative Selling, Information Services Sales, CRM Usage, Client Account Research, Cold Calling, Email Outreach, LinkedIn Outreach, Persuasion Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage effective on your first day of employment, Flexible paid time off.
