Air Station Prairie Natural Areas… at Glenview Park… · Glenview

Kent Fuller Air Station Prairie is a 32-acre remnant of tall-grass prairie that once covered 60% of Illinois. Illinois, known as “The Prairie State,” contained approximately 20 million acres of prairie. Over the last two hundred years, 99.9% of original prairie was lost. Kent Fuller Air Station Prairie is part of the two-thousand acres of undisturbed prairie remaining.
