Gharannaa is a premium event management company specializing in hosting and managing high-end events and experiences. Our internal team operates from a premium residential workspace in Andheri West, Mumbai, where we work closely together to plan, manage, and execute our events. We are looking for an HR Executive who can take ownership of our internal HR operations and ensure that employee processes, records, documentation, and day-to-day HR activities are managed in a structured and professional manner.
Job Overview
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle within the organization, from recruitment and background verification to onboarding, attendance, leave management, employee documentation, and exit formalities. The ideal candidate should be organized, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sensitive employee information with complete confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Documentation & Records.
Maintain complete and up-to-date employee files and records.
Collect, verify, and organize employee documents during joining.
Ensure all employee documentation is properly maintained and easily accessible.
Regularly update employee records whenever there are changes.
Maintain confidentiality of personal and employment-related information.
Background Verification (BGV)
Coordinate and manage the background verification process for employees.
Collect the required information and documents for verification.
Follow up with employees and verification agencies as required.
Maintain proper records of BGV status and documentation.
Escalate any discrepancies or concerns to the management.
Recruitment
Handle internal recruitment requirements as assigned by management.
Source and screen suitable candidates for open positions.
Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate records.
Communicate with shortlisted candidates and coordinate the joining process.
Maintain a structured recruitment tracker.
Onboarding
Coordinate the complete employee onboarding process.
Ensure joining documentation and required formalities are completed.
Conduct or coordinate employee induction and orientation.
Ensure new employees understand relevant company policies, procedures, and workplace expectations.
Maintain proper onboarding records.
Attendance & Leave Management
Maintain daily employee attendance records.
Track employee leaves and maintain accurate leave records.
Coordinate with employees and management regarding attendance and leave-related matters.
Prepare regular attendance and leave reports.
Employee Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for routine HR-related employee queries.
Maintain professional communication with employees and management.
Support employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
Assist management in maintaining a disciplined, professional, and positive working environment.
HR Operations
Maintain HR trackers, reports, and employee databases.
Coordinate employee confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
Ensure HR processes are followed consistently.
Assist the Founder with day-to-day HR and administrative requirements.
Handle sensitive employee information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in HR or a similar role.
Practical experience in recruitment and general HR operations.
Good understanding of employee documentation, onboarding, attendance, and leave management.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic office tools.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with employees and management.

The ideal candidate will be organized, responsible, approachable, and trustworthy, with the ability to independently manage employee records and day-to-day HR processes.
