ESTIMATOR at GETC GROUP in Al-Khawr

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs from drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of work.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Perform pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders, claims, and additional works.
• Prepare monthly interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor payment certificates.
• Measure completed works at site and verify quantities against drawings and BOQ.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and expenditure.
• Prepare material quantity calculations and procurement schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors, Procurement, Accounts, and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Maintain proper records of measurements, invoices, variations, claims, and payment certificates.
• Assist in contract administration and commercial negotiations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor potential cost overruns.
• Prepare regular cost reports and commercial progress reports.
• Ensure all measurements and valuations comply with the contract conditions, drawings, specifications, and approved standards.
• Attend site inspections and coordination meetings when required.
• Maintain updated records of as-built quantities and final accounts.
• Assist in preparation and settlement of final accounts.
• Perform any other commercial/quantity-surveying duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar/GCC construction projects.
• Experience in building, MEP, infrastructure, or fit-out projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, estimation, variations, claims, and payment certification.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Qatar construction practices and contract procedures is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Qatar experience and transferable QID may be preferred depending on the employer.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
