Summary: Gentiva is a company focused on providing healthcare solutions, and they are seeking a Business Analyst I. This role is responsible for executing core business analysis activities, partnering with stakeholders to capture requirements, and supporting technology solutions to meet operational needs. Responsibilities: - Responsible for the tactical execution of core business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation of functional and technical specifications, testing support, and delivery validation - Partners with business and technology stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately captured, technology solutions address operational needs, and IT products meet defined business objectives - Supports the resolution of technology-related challenges and contributes to enterprise initiatives through hands-on analysis and problem-solving - Builds analytical, technical, and communication skills while enabling the effective use of data and technology across the organization Required Qualifications: - Possesses a foundational understanding of systems development concepts, business analysis methodologies, and project lifecycle frameworks - Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to define problems, collect data, and discern patterns - Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Excels in time management and organizational skills within fast-paced environments - Shows aptitude for learning new systems, business processes, and tools efficiently - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Visio or comparable diagramming applications is preferred - Maintains a basic understanding of business applications, data principles, and software testing practices - Capable of creating and maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation - Familiar with requirements elicitation techniques - Working knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies - Experienced in using work management or tracking solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Monday.com) - Meticulous attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy - Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science or a related field; equivalent experience or technical training may be considered - 0–2 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, system support, or a related field - Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Hospice, Palliative Care, and/or Home Health operations - Exposure to SQL, reporting tools, dashboards, or data visualization concepts - Understanding of process improvement or workflow analysis - Experience supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) or business readiness initiatives - Relevant certifications (preferred but not required): business analysis, project management, or process improvement (e.g., BA certifications, CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) Required Skills: Business analysis methodologies, Systems development concepts, Project lifecycle frameworks, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Requirements elicitation techniques, Agile project management, Waterfall project management, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, Software testing practices Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness Program and Resources, 401k match, PTO, FMLA, ADA and other federal and state required leaves, Short/Long Term Disability, HSA Contribution, Mileage or Fleet Car Program, Cell Phone Reimbursement (for eligible roles), Short Term Incentive (for eligible roles), Tuition Reimbursement
