As a Summer Architecture Intern, you will collaborate with a design team on various architecture projects, gaining real-world experience and participating in educational sessions and mentorship opportunities. Responsibilities: - Work on architecture projects as a fully collaborative member of a design team, participating in design charrettes to help define strategic goals for our clients, large or small - Receive hands-on learning and collaborate with designers, architects, directors, and managers to plan, design, develop and gain real-world experience working with clients across a spectrum of industries and locations - Enjoy the rich culture of our office and firm through educational sessions and mentorship opportunities that include lunch-and-learns, lectures, project tours and vendor presentations - Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and technical drawings - Build physical study models and presentation models - Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts Required Qualifications: - You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture - You have completed your third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program and are returning to your program post-internship - Experience using Revit and Rhino/Sketchup is required - BIM Authoring (Revit Experience) - Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook and Bluebeam Preferred Qualifications: - NAAB accredited program highly preferred - AutoCAD and other 3D modeling software is a plus - Hand sketching and physical modelling ability a plus - Curiosity to explore using different emerging technologies - Familiarity and exploration of generative AI, large language models and computation processes - Exploration of visualization and XR skills (AR, VR, MX/XR and Augmented Realities) - Exploration of 3D printing and physical model making Required Skills: Revit, Rhino/Sketchup Important Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Bluebeam Nice-to-Have Skills: Hand sketching, Physical modeling, Emerging technologies, Generative AI, Visualization skills, 3D printing Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Hands-on learning, Educational sessions, Mentorship opportunities, Lunch-and-learns, Lectures, Project tours, Vendor presentations
