Summary: Gensler is a design firm seeking an Experiential Brand Designer to shape how people experience brands in various environments. The role involves collaborating with teams to develop brand strategies, visual identities, and immersive experiences across physical and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create visual identities, branded environments, experiential graphics, signage and wayfinding systems, exhibitions, digital experiences, and other brand communications for a diverse range of clients
- Conduct research into organizational, cultural, audience, and physical contexts to inform project goals, opportunities, and design direction
- Generate and develop multiple design concepts that address client needs and create meaningful experiences
- Apply messaging, typography, color, imagery, and composition across two- and three-dimensional applications
- Develop and refine design solutions based on internal and client feedback
- Assist in the creation of presentations, workshops, and client-facing materials
- Support the development of design documentation, specifications, and production-ready artwork for print, digital, and environmental applications
- Participate in implementation activities, including review of vendor shop drawings, samples, mockups, and prototypes
- Coordinate closely with project leads and design managers throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, strategists, digital designers, fabricators, and other project consultants
- Support project closeout, file organization, and marketing documentation efforts
Required Qualifications:
- 0–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, brand design, experiential design, environmental graphic design, exhibition design, digital design, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, and visual communication principles
- Interest in brand strategy, identity systems, experiential graphics, branded environments, digital experiences, and storytelling through design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Miro and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable design practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations
- Experience with additional design tools is a plus (i.e CAD tools, SketchUp, Figma, MidJourney, Nano Banana, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.)
