Job Description
Summary: Genmab is an international biotechnology company focused on improving patient lives through innovative antibody therapeutics. The Commercialization Finance Intern will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop financial tools and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support operating expense planning and tracking, including variance analysis and identification of risks and opportunities
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership decision-making
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand key business drivers and translate them into financial insights
- Participate in the development of financial models to support decision making
- Participate in mentorship sessions and contribute to discussions on financial processes, planning cycles, and best practices
- Support ad hoc analyses and projects to improve visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision support
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
- Basic understanding of financial concepts (e.g., P&L, forecasting, budgeting)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Demonstrated interest in finance, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical industry
