Job Description
Summary: General Dynamics Information Technology is a global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology and mission services to every major agency across the U.S. government. They are seeking a Junior UI Developer to join their fully remote Agile team, responsible for stabilizing legacy applications and enhancing UI/UX for customers at the EPA.
Responsibilities:
- Nuxt3 development coding primarily to support senior level staff and EPA Federal teams
- Experience with Vue.js/Nuxt
- Create documentation for projects, bug fixes, etc., received from clients
- Communicate effectively to support customers and senior level developers to design, plan, and refine large scale projects
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments that include standups, JIRA boards, 2 weeks sprints, etc
- Support testing cycle
Required Qualifications:
- 0 + years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- Technical Training, Certification(s), or Degree
- Front-End Technology Stack
- Vue.js
- Nuxt
- React
- Next
- Ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasking workloads with critical deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Superior communications skills and a demonstrated ability to maintain a patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical parties (who may be key stakeholders)
- Ability to manage equipment and services in remote locations
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain an organized workflow, with a high degree of attention to detail
- Familiarity with or exposure to DevOps and ITIL Agile processes
- Must be able to obtain EPA Public Trust Level 4
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 years of related professional IT experience preferred
