Aircraft Structural Design Engineer 1

Onsite in Savannah, Georgia

Launch Your Engineering Career Designing Gulfstream Aircraft

Turn what you’ve learned in the classroom, an internship, or a hands-on engineering project into real aircraft design experience. Join Gulfstream’s Airframe Structural Design Engineering team and start building your career by helping develop the parts and assemblies that define our large-cabin aircraft.

You’ll use 3D computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering fundamentals, learn alongside experienced engineers, and gain exposure to the aircraft design and build process as your work moves from digital definition toward the aircraft.

Your Opportunity

This is an opportunity to launch your structural design career while building practical engineering experience on Gulfstream aircraft.

As an Aircraft Structural Design Engineer, you’ll help develop and sustain the structural definition of our large-cabin aircraft, supporting new product development and improvements to the existing fleet.

With guidance from experienced engineers, you’ll learn how to define the form, fit, and function of airframe parts and assemblies, integrate systems, and select appropriate materials, processes, and finishes. Along the way, you’ll expand your technical knowledge through real design challenges and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, program, supplier, and customer support teams.

Why Gulfstream

Starting your engineering career at Gulfstream means learning while contributing to a real product. You’ll have opportunities to strengthen your structural design and 3D CAD skills, participate in design reviews, support aircraft builds, and see how engineering decisions connect with manufacturing.

You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, solve problems, learn from experienced professionals, and continue developing your technical knowledge while contributing to the safe, efficient, high-quality aircraft designs Gulfstream builds and supports.
