Job Description
Summary: General Atlantic is a leading global investor with over four decades of experience in providing capital and strategic support to innovative businesses. The Summer Analyst role involves supporting investment opportunities through research, financial modeling, and due diligence, while gaining exposure to the investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Learn how Analysts develop investment theses and industry expertise through market mapping, research, conversations with industry experts, and due diligence on specific targets
- Build financial models and valuation analyses to support live deal execution
- Provide sourcing, prospecting, and diligence support through both quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Contribute to portfolio company initiatives and value-creation efforts, including financings, public offerings, and partnership development
- Review and analyze data, legal, and financial documents to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Discover how customer analytics, portfolio engagement, and deal judgment drive GA’s investment process
Required Qualifications:
- Individuals currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution in the US and are graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028
- Have a proven record of achievement in academic, leadership, and other settings
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity, professionalism, and a dedication to continuous learning
- Creative and solutions-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High energy, collaborative and globally minded, eager to work with colleagues across GA's offices
