Summary: Gen Digital is seeking a high-performing Corporate Development MBA Intern to join their Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team. This role offers hands-on experience in analyzing market activities, developing strategic roadmaps, and executing partnerships and M&A transactions. Responsibilities: - Analyze and understand Gen’s strategic objectives, as well as industry trends to identify, recommend and pursue companies/technologies that can meet those objectives - Conduct research and analysis on potential areas for expansion and targets for partnership or acquisition - Build financial models to evaluate the potential impact of proposed transactions - Prepare presentation materials and proposals to communicate recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders - Lead cross-functional teams (product, finance, compliance, legal, accounting, etc.) to drive the deal closing process - Review existing strategic partnership contracts for potential areas of expansion, cost optimization, and renewal opportunities Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing MBA (1 year completed) from top-tier institution - Demonstrated analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and other quantitative analyses - Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels and teams across the organization - High degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology, cybersecurity, and fintech Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development / strategy a plus Required Skills: Analytical skills, Financial modeling Important Skills: Investment banking experience, Consulting experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Intellectual curiosity, Passion for technology Benefits: Exposure to C-suite decision-making and strategic projects at a public company, Hands-on experience in M&A, corporate investing, and strategic partnerships, Professional development, A collaborative and high-energy work environment where you can learn and make an impact
