Summary: Gecko Robotics is helping the world’s most important organizations ensure the availability, reliability, and sustainability of critical infrastructure. As an Intern, you will take ownership of a new problem space, collaborating with software teams and users to define and build a product module from the ground up. Responsibilities: - Own a Problem End-to-End: Partner with the team to select a well-defined, high impact problem. Take it from initial framing through deep understanding and solution development - Deeply Understand the Domain: Conduct rigorous research into customer workflows, systems, and constraints. Develop a working-level understanding of how systems operate today and where opportunities exist for improvement - Build and Iterate: Work closely with Gecko’s software and product teams to design and develop a product module. Rapidly prototype, test ideas, and iterate based on feedback and findings - Engage with Customers: Spend time with users to understand their needs firsthand. Validate assumptions, gather insights, and ensure that what you build delivers real-world value - Drive Toward Excellence: Continuously refine your work, both the problem definition and the solution, until it reaches a high standard of quality and impact - Operate Independently: Take initiative in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
