The Engineer will support the design, development, and execution of Accessory fluid systems and mechanical packages for new unit projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, the engineer will contribute to system design activities, engineering analyses, equipment selection, technical documentation, and project execution from concept through commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of Accessory fluid systems and mechanical packages for new unit projects.
• Prioritize "Safety by Design" in all activities by identifying potential hazards and implementing solutions that adhere to stringent environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards.
• Assist in creating system architectures, engineering layouts, equipment specifications, technical reports, and design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support system design, equipment sizing, and performance verification using relevant digital analysis and simulation tools.
• Support the preparation and review of engineering drawings, schematics, and design deliverables.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, customer requirements, and established design practices.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into engineering solutions.
• Support execution of engineering activities while meeting quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Project Engineering.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Support the application of Lean principles to streamline engineering workflows and enhance project efficiency.
• Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards, best practices, and design guidelines.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Participate in innovation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, reliability, and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Recent graduate with minimum 0-1 year of relevant experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
• Strong academic foundation in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and engineering fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and engineering design principles.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and analyze technical data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Minimum 0-1 year of relevant experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.

• The required work location is Greenville, SC (relocation assistance is available)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $108,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
