Job Title: President, Print Technologies

Reports To: President & CEO, GBS Corp
Position Summary
The President of the Business Unit will oversee and manage all aspects of the business unit’s sales and operations by leading the mission and strategic goals of the business. This position works closely with Senior Management, Sales Executives, Operations Management and Marketing to position GBS solutions for maximum sales and profitability. The position has P&L responsibility that requires developing and achieving annual budgets, annual business and operating plans, and long-term strategic plans designed to meet the profit and business objectives of the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, trains and manages senior management, sales and professional staff.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the President & CEO as a contributor to revenue growth, strategy and planning.
- Manage and supervise sales management and sales executive activities.
- Manage evaluate and develop sales personnel including: hiring and termination, training and motivating; compensating and establishing annual sales objectives.
- Achieve forecast top line and operating income objectives.
- Work with Sales and Operations/Production Management to develop, implement, and execute an annual strategic business plan for the business unit including achievement of assigned metrics such as those related to financial forecasts and customer satisfaction.
- Provides leadership and management to ensure that the goals and objectives for Sales, Operations/Production are achieved.
- Collaborates and communicates at all levels of the organization to meet corporate and business unit goals.
- Interacts with key clients on all phases of business development and implementation.
- Conduct regularly scheduled monthly sales meetings to review sales progress, provide training and develop sales strategies.
- Identify and establish sales priorities and plan for future staffing and resource requirements within the region.
- Leads the development, communication and implementation of the sales growth strategies and effective business processes.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Approves contracts, actively assisting with negotiations.
- Prepares monthly reports on performance against sales and operational objectives, key opportunities, challenges and competitive activity for President & CEO.
- Approves advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, new technologies, sales techniques and market conditions relevant to the business unit and industry by attending conferences, workshops and conducting related research.
- Maintains knowledge of internal operating and reporting tools including but not limited to Smartlink, MyGBS, GP Dynamics, Vena, Criterion, etc.
- Cultivate direct effective utilization of the sales process and all available sales tools including CRM, RAIN, ROI, Discovery, Marketing Materials and Sales Reporting.
- Coordinate and manage new business development activities, including discovery, RFI/RFP and project implementation and planning.
- Works directly with the Executive Management Team on major sales opportunities to facilitate integrated and cross selling strategies across the company.
- Enhance, develop and implement policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve the overall operational effectiveness of the business unit.
- Performs other duties as required.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Successful selling of multi-million-dollar programs involving multiple decision makers.
- Successful in consultative and/or enterprise sales environments.
- Successfully managed a sales team achieving sales objectives.
- Experience in developing sales budgets.
- Thorough understanding of the company’s policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
- Thorough understanding of managing all aspects of Division’s financial reports.
- Thorough understanding of fiscal and human resource management techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of compliance requirements and governmental regulations.
- Ability to produce sales and implement marketing strategies.
- Ability to develop business unit policies and procedures that are effective and clear.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present comprehensive reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Ability to communication and present complete business solutions to all levels within an organization.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field;
- At least 5 years of industry experience in one or more of the following industries is required: print, labeling, document management, technology-based solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years sales management experience including responsibility for developing and managing sales quotas and P&L’s.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility.
