Summary: Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) is a small veteran-owned company dedicated to providing high quality engineering and technical services. The Engineering Intern will assist with various administrative, engineering, and technical assignments under the supervision of a professional Engineer. Responsibilities: - Update engineering drawings/graphics using Solidworks CAD and Solidworks Electrical - Assist in developing Master Wire Lists - Assist in developing Parts Lists/Build of Materials - Assist Production in assembling kits for shipment - Assist in developing technical orders and schematics - Assist in other engineering assignments as required Required Qualifications: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong supervisory and leadership skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate - Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment - Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software - Ability to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice as needed - Ability to maintain professional appearance - Minimum of 60 credit hours and actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - Minimum GPA of 3.0 - United States citizen - The ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times Required Skills: Solidworks CAD, Solidworks Electrical, Microsoft Office Suite, Customer service, Analytical skills, Supervisory skills, Task prioritization Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), Vacation, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Sick Leave (PSL), Paid holidays, Life insurance
