Job Description
Summary: Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) is a small veteran-owned company dedicated to providing high quality engineering and technical services. The Engineering Intern will assist with various administrative, engineering, and technical assignments under the supervision of a professional Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Update engineering drawings/graphics using Solidworks CAD and Solidworks Electrical
- Assist in developing Master Wire Lists
- Assist in developing Parts Lists/Build of Materials
- Assist Production in assembling kits for shipment
- Assist in developing technical orders and schematics
- Assist in other engineering assignments as required
Required Qualifications:

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice as needed
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Minimum of 60 credit hours and actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- United States citizen
- The ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times
