Summary: Garver is an employee-owned engineering, planning, and environmental services firm focused on various sectors including transportation. They are seeking a civil engineering student to join their Lawrenceville Transportation Team as a Drainage Intern, providing exposure to drainage engineering and real-world experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside our dynamic team and be exposed to many aspects of drainage engineering including post-construction and construction stormwater management, stormwater drainage systems design, stormwater permitting, and H&H modeling bridges and culverts
- Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and calculations related to drainage, E&S Control, LID/GI, and Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs)
- Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related software such as ArcGIS, Microstation, HydraCAD, Hydraflow, PondPack, StormCAD, Autodesk SSA, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and HY-8
- Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry
Required Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in drainage/stormwater engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Previous internship experience
