Recruitment Associate - Entrylevel at gamp in Lagos

The Recruiter will support the end-to-end candidate sourcing process, with a strong focus on finding, screening, and engaging qualified candidates for our clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build practical experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and the African talent ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates for client vacancies across multiple industries and functions.
• Search for candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, social media, internal databases, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
• Review CVs and candidate profiles against role requirements.
• Conduct initial candidate screening and qualification calls where required.
• Contact potential candidates and communicate relevant opportunities professionally.
• Maintain accurate candidate records
• Shortlist qualified candidates and share profiles with the operations team for client submission.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Support the recruitment team with candidate research and talent mapping.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
• Provide regular updates on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and progress against recruitment targets.
• Support other recruitment and talent-related projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree.
• 1 year in core recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Good research and internet-search skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn and other online platforms to identify candidates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess information quickly.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working with targets and deadlines.
• Very smart and tech savvy.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
