Job Description
Summary: Gametime is a company focused on uniting the world through shared live experiences. They are seeking a Marketing Analytics Intern to help understand and optimize marketing channel efficiency and analyze the user lifecycle, leveraging various analytics tools to support marketing strategies and customer acquisition efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining frameworks to attribute marketing efforts and track customer journeys, user growth, and retention across various channels
- Analyze marketing and user behavior data to identify trends, insights, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Support the management of tracking systems and help generate comprehensive reports on marketing performance and user retention
- Work closely with marketing, product, and data teams to align analytics efforts with overall business growth goals
- Provide data-backed recommendations for marketing timing, channel optimization, and user engagement
- Help deliver detailed reporting on campaign effectiveness, organic/paid channel performance, and key metrics
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging marketing analytics techniques
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field
- Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a similar domain
- Broad understanding of marketing channels is a plus
- Proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with Python/R for data analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma)
- Basic understanding of UTM parameters, marketing tags, and attribution concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior exposure to or interest in mobile measurement solutions (e.g., SKAdNetwork/SKAN)
- Strong academic foundation in statistics, with an understanding of A/B testing, performance metrics, and predictive analytics
