As a Data Analyst, you will transform raw survey data into trusted insights, ensuring data quality and usability for high-stakes decisions. Responsibilities: - Clean, merge and transform raw survey datasets from Gallup data collection methods, vendor sources and client-provided files - Apply data governance standards by removing or managing personally identifiable information and safeguarding sensitive data - Execute data plans by recoding, restructuring and validating data for internal researchers and practice teams - Perform independent data quality checks and proofs to ensure datasets are accurate, complete and ready for analysis - Create datasets, tabs and index pilots based on project needs - Support internal and external databases through ongoing data cleaning and quality control - Partner with researchers, methodologists and internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and readiness Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required, preferably in data analytics, data science or business intelligence; will consider May 2026 graduates - Experience using R and Python required; SPSS preferred; proficiency in additional statistical and programming languages a plus - Strong statistical knowledge required - Demonstrated ability to clean and transform large datasets required - Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and the current AI landscape required - A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's Omaha office at least three days per week required - Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: - SPSS preferred; proficiency in additional statistical and programming languages a plus Required Skills: R, Python, SPSS, Statistical knowledge, Data cleaning, Data transformation, AI concepts, Machine learning concepts Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life and other insurance options, A fully vested 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching, An employee stock ownership program, Family-building benefits, An employee assistance program, Various reimbursements and activities that enhance our associates’ wellbeing
