They are looking for a Data Intern to assist with developing new subject areas into GAF's Google Big Query data platform and to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization. Responsibilities: - Develop a solution for a business need with hands-on experience using Google Cloud Platform/Tableau Cloud - Conduct analysis on functionality and features that are of interest to the team , deliver impactful assignments that drive business results - Work with experienced analysts and engineers to analyze large datasets, build models and dashboards, automate workflows and translate data into actionable insights used by business teams, leadership and customers - Present at a monthly Data Analytics meeting to a cross-function group of analysts - Learn support processes and participate in support rotation to address user requests and incidents - Establish how new metrics will be defined and measured, and partner with business teams to operationalize reporting - Deliver analytics and insights that are clear and digestible to non-technical stakeholders - You will participate in an Advanced analytics use case involving predictive and prescriptive AI/ML capabilities - You will assist with AI agent development, training and enablement —gaining real-world experience at the intersection of operations, data, and AI-driven productivity tools - You will also participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and deployment of the cloud infrastructure required for Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, and Machine Learning Operations Required Qualifications: - Pursue of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, preferably with a sophomore standing - Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of data organization, validation, and visualization - Fluency in expressing analytics needs, capabilities, and outcomes - Experience working with BI and data visualization platforms - Strong skills in SQL or Python for data analysis - Ability to communicate complex information with clarity and precision Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills - Conduct rigorous quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data - Comfort learning new tools and concepts in a fast-paced environment Required Skills: Google Cloud Platform, Tableau, SQL Important Skills: Python, Data visualization Nice-to-Have Skills: Quality assurance, Learning new tools Benefits: We offer a wide range of health insurance options that include medical, dental, and vision for you and your family., Our Family-Building benefits support the many different journeys to fertility and parenthood., Our robust 401K plan includes an employer match contribution with your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions., Other exciting programs and perks are available to help employees achieve work-life balance, including (but not limited to) a wellness program, free financial coaching, a referral program, and product rebates when purchased for an employee’s primary residence., Professional growth and development are very important to us!
