Job Summary
Lead and deliver transformation, operational improvement, and technology projects across Life Operations, including New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, and Customer Servicing. Work with business, IT, vendors, and stakeholders to drive efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes.
The Job
1. Project Delivery
Manage projects from initiation to implementation and post-launch review
Deliver projects within scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets
Manage project plans, risks, issues, resources, and governance
Coordinate business, IT, compliance, risk, and vendor teams
2. Business Transformation
Lead initiatives involving: Digital transformation, AI and automation, process improvement, system enhancements/replacement and regulatory projects
Define project scope, objectives, and expected benefits
Drive operational efficiency and service improvements
3. Stakeholder & Governance Management
Prepare project updates and management reports
Engage stakeholders, including senior management
Present project status, risks, and recommendations
Ensure compliance with PMO standards and policies
4. Testing & Implementation
Manage SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment activities
Support change management and business readiness
Ensure smooth transition to BAU operations
The Person
1. Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related disciplines
Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum
Lean Six Sigma and insurance qualifications (e.g. LOMA/FLMI) are advantageous
2. Experience
Minimum 5 years' project management experience in Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services
Experience delivering medium-to-large transformation projects
Exposure to digital, automation, process improvement, system implementation, or regulatory initiatives
Vendor management experience is an advantage

Strong project management, planning, and risk management skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
Confident in presenting to senior management
