In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for students throughout their educational journey, helping them navigate academic challenges, stay on track toward graduation, and achieve their career aspirations. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Provide academic advising and support to a caseload of students. • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and retention indicators. • Conduct regular outreach to students through phone calls, text messages, emails, and meetings. • Assist students in developing academic success plans and overcoming barriers to completion. • Collaborate with faculty, admissions, financial aid, and student services teams to support student success. • Maintain accurate student records and document advising interactions. • Counsel students regarding academic policies, procedures, and graduation requirements. • Identify at-risk students and implement intervention strategies. • Support orientation, registration, and student engagement initiatives. • Foster a positive, encouraging, and student-centered environment. REQUIREMENTS WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. • Experience in academic advising, student services, education, customer service, case management, admissions, or a related field. • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with diverse student populations. • Bilingual English/Spanish required. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and student information systems.
