Summary: Future Technologies Inc. is seeking an Information Technologist to support the AEGIS Technical Representative Professional Support Services Contract in Moorestown, NJ. The role involves supporting IT tasks, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance to ensure the operational availability of Navy command systems. The candidate will collaborate with leadership, maintain compliance with Navy standards, and support incident response activities.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in various information technology (IT) tasks and projects
- Support Navy Enterprise Tool (NET) service acquisition, Flank Speed user/device management, and deployment activities for the infrastructure
- Participate in troubleshooting and sustainment activities for laptop, desktop, printer, network, and digital signage infrastructure with Enterprise and/or Field Service Technicians
- Participate in troubleshooting general end-user functions involving Microsoft Windows OS and various desktop applications (Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft One Drive, etc.)
- Provide local technical support, identifying network faults and ensuring high operational availability of command systems
- Interface and collaborate with Team Lead and senior leadership to support various IT-related tasks/projects
- Record technical processes, system baselines, and troubleshooting guides in strict compliance with Navy standards and guidelines
- Facilitate authorization and creation of all account requests and serve as SIPRNet Trusted Agent (TA) for TECHREP
- Serve as Media Transfer Agent to facilitate data transfers for end-users, when required
- Provide technical support in the development of role-based SOP and End-User troubleshooting/configuration instructions for applicable subject areas
- Support Incident response activities in response to security incidents or electronic spillage events
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in information technology and/or systems administration
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with a Tier 3 background Investigation
- At least one of the following active certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Certified Network Defender (CND), GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Strong customer service, communication and writing skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Associates or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant technical fields
- Basic IT-level understanding and installation of networking, network devices (switches, routers, etc.), and network cabling
- Familiarity with printers and multi-function devices
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks within short time periods
- Established IT-level familiarity of traditional computing devices and environments (desktops/laptops), specifically Windows OS and desktop applications (Adobe, Microsoft Office, etc.), and mobile applications (Apple Ios)
- Familiarity with Navy and/or DoW environments
- Sitting for long periods, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling
- Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs
