Summary: Fuse Integration is a technology firm focused on innovative communications and networking solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineering Technician to support quality management and improve overall product quality through various responsibilities including inspections and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming and in-process material and products are in compliance with Fuse's drawings and specifications
- Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities including data input, reporting and material disposition
- Identify potential continuous improvement opportunities through production and inspection
- Assist in the implementation process improvements
- Perform first article inspections
- Develop and maintain production inspection reports
- Ensure that production is not hindered by quality testing procedures
- Support continuous improvement the Quality Management System
- Assist in AS9100 audits
- Report quality issues and anomalies to appropriate managers
- Collate test and inspection data to facilitate quality reporting
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience as an Inspector or Quality Technician
- Solid judgment to proactively identify and solve complex problems
- Hands on experience with reading engineering drawings and interpreting technical information to include GD&T tolerancing
- Experience with collecting data for generating quality reports
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in changing situations
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments and with supervisors and managers
- US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of electronic circuitry
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP
- ASQ Certification (Technician or Auditor)
- Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100
