Summary: FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is on a mission to innovate for a healthier world, and they are seeking an Assoc Endoscopic Repair Tech. This entry-level position is responsible for technical repair and final quality inspection on assigned Endoscopic units while consistently meeting monthly repair targets and adhering to safety policies. Responsibilities: - Performs repairs on core G/I (Endoscopic) equipment based upon the Incoming Inspector's findings - Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments - Assemble and disassemble small highly delicate parts of the endoscope assuring the unit meets the established specifications - Performs final quality inspection on the completed repair to ensure the product is up to the manufacturer's original specifications before passing the scope along to the final quality control station - Troubleshoot potential problems not originally discovered during the initial inspection - Operates required equipment in a safe manner following established safety rules, maintains a neat and clean work area, follows established tool and instrument control procedures, and reports any unsafe acts or conditions to immediate supervisor - Other relevant duties as required - Adhere to all safety policies and procedures - Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards - Must follow instructions and apply to real situations in a very quick manner - Reach monthly targets on a consistent basis Required Qualifications: - HS Diploma or equivalency is required - Able to professionally communicate with co-workers and internal customers - Able to investigate and resolve discrepancies - Ability to research and analyze various types of information - Ability to prioritize work - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret essential job-related documents - Ability to calculate and match figures and amounts - Must follow instructions and apply to real situations in a very quick manner - Reach monthly targets on a consistent basis - Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards - Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications: - Electronic and/or Mechanical Certification or degree preferred, but will consider applicants with repair experience in electronics, medical device, mechanical, or a similar field - Soldering experience preferred Required Skills: Electronic repair, Mechanical repair, Medical device repair, Soldering, Troubleshooting, Quality inspection, Regulatory compliance - FDA, Regulatory compliance - ISO 13485, Information research, analysis, Prioritization, Reading, interpreting job-related documents, Basic math skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off
