Excellerate Resident Engineer Intern at FTI in Olathe, KS

The Excellerate Engineering Intern will work closely with the Management Team on assigned projects, offering input for Continuous Improvement and assessing current processes. Responsibilities: - Interact with Production employees - Attend staff meetings and management meetings as needed - Learn and assess current processes in both Manufacturing and Field Support functions - Collect and analyze data to present to management - Assists with planning of production and staffing - Performs safety audits and 6S audits as needed - Participates in and leads Continuous Improvement Events - Performs other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working toward a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management, or Engineering - Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite - No experience required - Travel: 10% - Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday Preferred Qualifications: - AutoCAD knowledge is preferred Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Important Skills: AutoCAD Nice-to-Have Skills: Continuous Improvement, Data Analysis Benefits: Competitive, merit-based compensation, Career path development, Flexible and robust benefits package, Industry-leading benefits
