We’re hiring a Barista for our French café inside Greenhills Mall, San Juan City. This role suits someone with solid café experience who can confidently handle both beverage preparation and front-of-house service in a quality-focused, guest-first environment.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a small, professional team delivering consistent coffee and thoughtful service in a refined yet relaxed French café setting. The position is on-site in Greenhills and requires flexibility with shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and other beverages with accuracy and consistency
• Maintain taste, quality, and presentation standards for every cup
• Perform basic equipment checks and coordinate servicing when needed
• Provide attentive, professional, and friendly customer service
• Take orders, serve guests, and assist with dining-area flow
• Keep the coffee station and dining area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Assist with daily prep, restocking, and basic inventory support
• Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure smooth service during peak hours

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Barista or in a similar café role
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and espresso machine operation
• Comfortable handling both barista duties and floor service (order taking, serving, guest assistance)
• Willing to work on-site in Greenhills, San Juan City
• Open to shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Completion of barista training or TESDA NC II certification (Barista NC II / Food & Beverage Services NC II)[tesda.gov][centerforbarista][reddit]
• Background in Hospitality Management, HRM, or a related field
• Familiarity with coffee bean roasting or roasting techniques (a strong plus)
