Summary: Freese and Nichols is excited to open a part-time internship on their Business Technology team in Fort Worth, Texas for summer 2026. This internship will involve software development tasks including writing code, bug testing, participating in code reviews, and assisting with documentation and research. Responsibilities: - Write or contribute to the codebase under the supervision of development team. Includes fixing minor bugs or adding features - Tasked with testing new software applications for bugs, errors, and other issues. Includes following testing scripts, documenting problems, and reporting findings to developers or project stakeholders - Participate in code reviews to learn best practices in coding and software design - Assist in the creation and updating of technical documentation for software applications - Participation in team meetings to understand ongoing projects - Conducting research on new technologies, tools, or development practices that could benefit current projects - Gather user feedback, create wireframes, and prepare design documents for user interfaces - Assisting with software release and deployment processes.
