How You Will Contribute Execute Comprehensive Clinical Care: Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and adjunctive therapies with precision, adhering strictly to state scope of practice and safety protocols. Deliver Accurate Assessments: Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and document clinical findings accurately, providing the provider with essential data for continuity of treatment. Drive Case Acceptance: Educate patients on disease progression and home care techniques in a way that builds understanding and encourages them to accept recommended treatment plans. Optimize Schedule Performance: Maintain an efficient, productive appointment schedule with minimal downtime, appropriate sequencing, and strong reappointment conversion rates. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements without exception, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff. Build Patient Trust: Cultivate lasting relationships through compassionate communication, leading to high retention rates and a consistently positive patient experience. Who You Are The Licensed Professional: You hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing, along with current radiation safety and CPR/BLS certifications. The Clinician: You have 0–2 years of experience with a demonstrated ability to meet baseline productivity, diagnostic, and reappointment standards. The Educator: You possess strong patient communication skills, and a track record of driving understanding and behavior change in your patients. The Detail-Oriented Record Keeper: You understand the importance of accurate documentation for services, findings, and consent in compliance with regulatory standards. The Collaborator: You work professionally with all clinical team members to support a cohesive and high-performing hygiene department. Requirements Education & Qualifications Required: Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing in the state of practice. State-required radiation safety certification and current CPR/BLS certification. 0–2 years of clinical hygiene experience; new graduates with strong clinical fundamentals are welcome. Preferred: Experience with periodontal programming, SRP case management, and adjunct service delivery such as local anesthesia or fluoride varnish. Proficiency in dental practice management software. Strong patient communication skills with a history of high reappointment and retention performance.
