Job Description
Summary: Forge Health is a mission-driven outpatient mental health and substance use provider dedicated to providing high-quality care. The Peer Support & Front Desk Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing front desk operations and providing peer support.
Responsibilities:
- Facility management including opening the office, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and reporting maintenance needs
- Maintain and document compliance logs in alignment with clinic policies and regulatory standards
- Greet and check in clients and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional, and trauma-informed experience
- Manage front desk operations including phones, messages, and real-time scheduling support for client needs
- Coordinate supply ordering and inventory to ensure clinic materials and forms are consistently available
- Process and track medical record requests, ensuring confidentiality and timely release of information
- Complete and monitor UDS uploads and related documentation in the electronic health record or designated system
- Facilitate new client orientation, explaining clinic processes, group schedules, rights and responsibilities, and available support resources
- Conduct outreach calls to clients missing from group, encouraging engagement and problem-solving barriers to attendance
- Attend and, as appropriate, co-facilitate peer groups, modeling recovery principles and supporting group norms
- Collaborate with clinical, medical, and billing teams to ensure accurate documentation, scheduling, and follow-up
Required Qualifications:
- Lived experience of recovery (SUD or MH) and willingness to share appropriately in a professional setting
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills, with comfort using EMR and basic office software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in behavioral health, medical front desk, or customer service
