Summary: Forescout Technologies Inc. is a leading cybersecurity company dedicated to helping organizations stay safe in a digital environment. They are seeking an Intern for their Research department to gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects that enhance threat intelligence and detection capabilities. Responsibilities: - Research and identify new indicators and develop signatures to expand and enhance existing threat intelligence databases - Explore and implement new tracking methodologies to improve accuracy, coverage, and efficiency of C2 detection - Expand threat research by sourcing and analyzing data from additional internal and external intelligence feeds - Collaborate with experienced researchers and engineers to validate findings and translate research into actionable outcomes Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a degree related to Computer Science, Networking or Cybersecurity - Experience with Python programming language and Linux - Basic understanding of cybersecurity and networking - Strong collaboration, communication and personal accountability skills – Ability to work both in team environments or independently, take initiative to seek feedback, and practice excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills - Strong presentation skills – Ability to learn and adopt new tools and processes and effectively present progress, outcomes, and solutions to teams and leadership - At minimum, you must have completed your third year of college, university, or an equivalent trade or technical school - Eligible interns must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher; an official transcript is required for your application - This internship is in-office / hybrid.
