Job Description
Summary: Forescout Technologies Inc. is a leading cybersecurity company focused on protecting organizations in a digital environment. They are seeking an intern for their Finance department to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting while contributing to real business projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build a spending analytics dashboard that surfaces trends, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and delivers actionable insights to Finance leadership
- Analyze draws for new commissionable employees to identify trends and insights that inform future hiring and compensation decisions
- Support monthly close activities through reporting and variance analysis and partnering with stakeholders to understand drivers versus budget and forecast
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting by updating models, aggregating data, and preparing executive-ready materials
- Perform financial analysis and data modeling to support strategic decisions and cross-functional finance initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- At minimum, you must have completed your third year of college, university, or an equivalent trade or technical school
- Eligible interns must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher; an official transcript is required for your application
- This internship is in-office / hybrid. You must be currently located within a commutable distance or have the ability to temporarily relocate to Plano, TX at your own expense
- You must be available for the full duration of the 10-week program
- Pursuing a degree related to Finance, Business Management/Administration and/or Economics
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
