The Intern in Engineering Operations will assist in dashboard development, reporting and analytics, and operational projects while gaining hands-on experience aligned to their field of study. Responsibilities: - Help design and build dashboards by collecting and analyzing project metrics from multiple engineering systems, turning data into clear, actionable insights for teams and leaders - Support quality reporting efforts by tracking key metrics, reviewing impacted releases, and helping produce product health and performance reports used across the organization - Improve team efficiency by identifying duplicate, outdated, or unclear tickets and documentation, and helping keep Jira and Confluence organized, accurate, and easy to use - Assist with ongoing engineering operations initiatives by gathering data for product allocation and software capitalization and helping implement automation rules that improve data accuracy and consistency Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a degree related to Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration and/or STEM - Experience with Python or other scripting languages - Understanding of basic SQL - Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to identify issues, analyze data and processes, and work through solutions thoughtfully and efficiently in collaboration with others - Curiosity & Solution-Seekers – Demonstrates a proactive mindset by asking questions, exploring data and processes, and contributing thoughtful, actionable solutions - Skillfully Organized & Process-Oriented - Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to follow, document, and improve processes to keep work accurate, consistent, and well-organized Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with any Atlassian tools is beneficial - Experience with any data visualization tools is preferred - Experience with AI code generation frameworks is beneficial Required Skills: Python, SQL Important Skills: Data Visualization, Atlassian Tools, AI Code Generation Nice-to-Have Skills: Curiosity
