The Platform and Capabilities Systems Engineer will lead the development of pipelines for body systems capabilities, focusing on enhancing functional capabilities and managing complex components through system integrations and upgrades. Responsibilities: - Develop backend pipelines for Platform Systems definitions including Requirements, DFMEA, Boundary Diagrams, SysML elements, Capability Dictionaries, WiKi’s - Automate gap analysis between current and future capability requirements and actual implementation and requirements - Optimize current pipelines for engineering processes and determine improvements that yield faster iterations with automation - Create quality analysis of various artifacts used in the engineering processes using LLM - Lead the design of the DevOps process in alignment of current vehicle architectures and adapt to changes in the rapidly changing landscape of vehicle software - Experiment with automating the pipeline processes to include proof of concept validation simulations - Lead the process reviews of submits in our git repositories for the entire team - Integrating input of cross-functional interfacing teams needs into the pipelines output Required Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - High Proficiency in programming languages and formats including C, C++, Python, JSON, and YAML - Advanced DevOps skills using LLM integration, agents, cross application and database API integration - 1+ years of related experience with vehicle electrical architecture, topology, body systems and/or features - 1+ years of experience in DevOps and software development - Concept, Logical and Technical requirement elicitation and authoring in plain text or Gherkin formats - Strong learning agility, advanced systems thinking, and exceptional analytical skills - Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams - Exposure level functional knowledge of electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, and body systems (including lighting, climate, seats, etc.) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly understand, articulate, and resolve complex issues - Demonstrated emotional resilience to effectively negotiate cross-functional trade-offs Preferred Qualifications: - A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering - 3+ years of related experience in an Automotive Engineering role - Strong skills using industry-standard tools such as Jira, Jama, FEDE, VSEM, DevOps tools (e.g., Github, Visual Studio), and Matlab/Simulink - Extensive Electrical Systems Engineering experience, including a deep understanding of the systems engineering V-model - Experience in automotive software Design & Release (D&R) - Experience with Vehicle-to-Cloud (V2C) work - Expertise in Vehicle cybersecurity - Proven launch experience in automotive programs Required Skills: C, C++, Python, JSON, YAML, DevOps, LLM integration, API integration, Vehicle electrical architecture, Body systems, Requirements elicitation, Gherkin format, Electrical module design, Wiring, Power distribution, Chassis systems, Jira, Jama, FEDE, VSEM, Github, Visual Studio, Matlab, Simulink, Systems engineering V-model, Automotive software Design & Release, Vehicle-to-Cloud, Vehicle cybersecurity, Emotional resilience Benefits: Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage, Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up childcare and more, Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more, Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases, Tuition assistance, Established and active employee resource groups, Paid time off for individual and team community service, A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
