Summary: Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Intern to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Team in West Hartford, CT. In this role, the Engineering Intern will assist the Product Development Team in simple product designs through CAD modeling and drawing documentation, and will work closely with Design Engineers and Engineering Managers on various assignments. Responsibilities: - Modeling and documenting design elements for engineering solutions - Creating testing environments for products, conducting the tests and documenting results - Reviewing product standards and updating as required - Working on manufacturing floor to solve design related issues Required Qualifications: - College Junior or higher preferred; Pursuing a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree - Currently enrolled in- or recently completed BSME or BSEE - Creative approach to problem solving based on solid theoretical engineering skill - Willing to provide engineering support required to sustain current product offering as well as evaluate new product designs.
