Job Description
Summary: Fluke Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Intern to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team. The intern will focus on identifying process inefficiencies and exploring AI-enabled tools to improve FP&A workflows, providing hands-on exposure to financial analysis and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Identify inefficiencies within standard FP&A processes
- Evaluate the business value of addressing process gaps or inefficiencies
- Document current-state processes and propose scalable improvements
- Assist in designing AI-enabled process improvements
- Help develop a repeatable, standard approach for leveraging AI in FP&A problem-solving
- Apply judgment in determining when AI tools enhance analysis versus manual approaches
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize financial and operational data to inform insights
- Prepare reports, presentations, and written summaries of findings
- Translate analysis into clear, concise insights for leadership and non-technical audiences
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to gather inputs and perspectives
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine analysis and recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Graduating December 2026 or later
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Ability to synthesize information and communicate insights clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working independently on defined projects while collaborating within a team environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience or coursework in financial analysis, data analysis, or related areas is a plus
- Occasional travel may be required

- Understanding of basic financial statements and core FP&A concepts
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and performance metrics (preferred, not required)
- Exposure to AI tools or automation concepts used in business or analytics contexts
