Summary: Florida Everblades Professional Hockey Club is a premier ECHL hockey team seeking a creative and motivated Graphics Design Intern to join their Marketing and Creative Services team. This internship offers hands-on experience in designing promotional materials for the team and Hertz Arena, ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about graphic design, sports, and entertainment. Responsibilities: - Create visually compelling graphics for digital and print platforms, including social media posts, website assets, email campaigns, posters, flyers, and in-arena signage - Assist in developing branded content to promote Florida Everblades games, Hertz Arena events, concerts, and special promotions - Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives - Design game-day materials, such as programs, tickets, and promotional giveaways - Support the creation of motion graphics or video assets for in-arena video boards and social media (if applicable) - Edit and retouch images for use in marketing collateral and media kits - Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions for upcoming events and campaigns - Assist with maintaining and organizing digital asset libraries Required Qualifications: - Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Premiere Pro or After Effects a plus) - Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines - Portfolio showcasing relevant design work (required) - Availability to work 15-20 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends for game days or events (flexible for remote work) - For in-person work, the ability to commute to Hertz Arena in Estero, FL - Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude - Ability to adapt designs based on feedback from supervisors and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: - Passion for sports, entertainment, or event marketing is a plus - Familiarity with social media platforms and designing for digital channels - Access to a reliable computer and internet connection for remote work (if applicable) Required Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Graphic Design, Typography, Color Theory, Branding, Social Media Design, Image Editing
