Role & responsibilities

• Plan and perform organic synthesis experiments as per project requirements.
• Execute and monitor reactions, ensuring completion within the planned timelines.
• Record experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately in laboratory notebooks.
• Analyze reaction outcomes and experimental data to support project progress.
• Prepare brief experiment summaries and project reports.
• Follow laboratory safety practices and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized laboratory workspace and instruments.
• Assist in troubleshooting reactions and optimizing experimental conditions when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with strong fundamentals in organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory experiments and common purification techniques (chromatography, crystallization, distillation).
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques such as HPLC, NMR, LCMS, GC.
• Ability to maintain laboratory notebooks, record and analyze data, and prepare experiment reports.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to plan and complete reactions within timelines.
• Freshers are welcome; candidates with 02 years of R&D experience will be preferred.
