We’re looking for our next Account Manager. Could it be you? Flexiti sits at the intersection of fintech, retail, and consumer lending — a $1.6B+ platform serving hundreds of thousands of Canadian consumers through major merchant partnerships. We’ve spent the last year investing in the foundations: Braze for lifecycle orchestration, Databricks for analytics and segmentation, and a consumer mobile app that’s now live. Now we’re accelerating — expanding into new verticals, scaling high-velocity partnerships, and building the team and operating model to match our ambitions.

In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing our merchant portfolio across Canada. This position requires exceptional versatility, as you will pivot daily between collaborating with senior-level executives at national brands and consultatively supporting owners of smaller independent retailers. You will successfully balance high-level client relationship management with technical execution. A critical component of this role is operational efficiency. You will leverage Gemini, Claude, Databricks, and other automation tools to optimize and streamline our merchant onboarding process, ensuring new partners can begin offering Flexiti financing faster and with minimal manual friction.

Portfolio Management: Serve as a trusted point of contact for a diverse Canadian merchant portfolio, building strong relationships with senior-level corporate stakeholders at national brands as well as small business owners.

Onboarding Automation: Design, implement, and maintain AI-driven workflows and data pipelines to automate the merchant onboarding journey, reducing time-to-live.

Performance Optimization: Analyze merchant data to identify growth opportunities, driving increased financing volume across your portfolio.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Tech teams to ensure automated onboarding processes align with company standards and enterprise security.

Strategic Training: Conduct high-impact onboarding and training sessions tailored to the stakeholder, whether presenting to corporate teams or busy retail owners.

So are YOU our next Account Manager? You are, if you...

AI & Data Proficiency (Core Requirement): Have proven ability to leverage Generative AI models (specifically Gemini and Claude) and data platforms (e.g., Databricks) in a daily workflow. You aren't just familiar with AI; you actively use it to automate tasks, generate client insights, and optimize business processes.

Experience: Have demonstrated experience in account management, customer success, or sales operations (FinTech or SaaS experience is a strong asset).

Analytical Ability: Are comfortable navigating complex data platforms to track merchant health, leveraging AI-assisted insights to measure the overall efficiency of the onboarding pipeline.

Adaptability & Initiative: Are a proactive, tech-forward professional who thrives in an agile environment and is eager to champion new AI tools to drive operational efficiency.

Communication & Executive Presence: Have exceptional communication skills. You can confidently hold your own in a boardroom with enterprise executives, yet remain empathetic and accessible to small business owners.

Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $85,000 - $105,000

The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
