Quality Engineering Intern at Flex in USA, CA, Milpitas

Summary: Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products. This Summer, they’re looking to add a Quality Engineering Intern to assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance, and supporting Quality Systems. Responsibilities: - Involvement with different Quality areas (Supplier Quality, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction) - Analyze data and process flow procedures - Research and create various reports and procedures as needed - Collaborate with Engineering Teams to address Quality issues related to suppliers and products, auditing results and overall improvement of KPI’s - Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled Senior student pursuing BS degree, majoring in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical & Computer Engineering (undergrad) - Risk Analysis coursework - Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment - Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills - MS Office Suite - Minitab or Statistical Software and basic concepts on Quality Core Tools and Management system - Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills - Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment - Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university - 3.0 minimum GPA Preferred Qualifications: - Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!
