Assistant Maintenance Tech at FLATS in Las Vegas, NV

Summary: FLATS is a lifestyle-driven real estate company known for its creative approach to urban apartment living. They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep of the property, handling troubleshooting and repairs across various systems and components. Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot work orders daily for residents prioritizing the service requests and ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion - Prepare vacant units for new residents ensuring that the unit meets the company standards/checklist - Maintain the exterior grounds of the property and conduct seasonal duties such as clean up or pool maintenance - Conduct walk-through of the entire property to ensure everything is in working order; if not, take the appropriate steps for documenting and correction - Prepare for inspections under the direction of the Maintenance Engineer or Property Manager - Schedule outside contractors for projects, if necessary under the direction of the Maintenance Engineer or Property Manager - Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.) as needed - Schedule and execute annual inspections needed on the property as needed, including but not limited to fire extinguishers, life safety systems, elevator, and any other annual inspections required by the city or state - Attend staff meetings and complete virtual trainings as required or requested - Other responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Engineer or Property Manager Required Qualifications: - HVAC experience required, HVAC certification is a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with Microsoft Office products - Excellent time management and problem-solving skills - Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math - High School diploma or equivalent - Strong personal skills to interact with tenants - At least 1 year of residential Maintenance experience - Valid driver's license Required Skills: HVAC experience Important Skills: HVAC certification, Microsoft Office, Residential maintenance Nice-to-Have Skills: Personal skills, English proficiency Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, Paid time off (PTO)
