Summary: FlatironDragados is offering a challenging and rewarding internship opportunity for law students. The intern will work with the legal team, performing legal research, reviewing policy documents, and assisting with contracts and compliance projects. Responsibilities: - Perform legal research on topics assigned by supervising lawyers, including construction, procurement, administrative, civil procedure, employment, labor and regulatory law - Review policy documents and identify and analyze legal risks for supervising lawyers to review - Assist supervising lawyers with contracts, claims, litigation, documentation and due diligence for various matters - Assist with various projects within the legal team to ensure compliance with business practices including drafting presentations, internal memos, business plans and reports - Perform additional assignments per management’s direction - Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in Law or a similar program at an accredited college or university Required Skills: Legal research, Contract analysis, Compliance knowledge Important Skills: Drafting presentations Benefits: Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program, Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP, Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vison and/or Provincial Medical, Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program
