Summary: FlatironDragados is offering an internship opportunity for law students within their legal team. The intern will perform legal research, assist with contracts and documentation, and support various projects to ensure compliance with business practices. Responsibilities: - Perform legal research on topics assigned by supervising lawyers, including construction, procurement, administrative, civil procedure, employment, labor and regulatory law - Review policy documents and identify and analyze legal risks for supervising lawyers to review - Assist supervising lawyers with contracts, claims, litigation, documentation and due diligence for various matters - Assist with various projects within the legal team to ensure compliance with business practices including drafting presentations, internal memos, business plans and reports - Perform additional assignments per management’s direction - Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in Law or a similar program at an accredited college or university Required Skills: Legal research, Contract analysis Important Skills: Compliance knowledge Nice-to-Have Skills: Drafting presentations Benefits: Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program, Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP, Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vison and/or Provincial Medical, Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program
