Position Summary

The Asst. Manager / Manager Accounts will oversee and execute core accounting activities during the night shift to maintain continuous operational alignment with overseas client schedules. This position ranges from daily ledger management and transaction recording to multi-currency reconciliations and high-level financial reporting, with leadership responsibilities scaled to the candidate's exact experience level.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Records & Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day transaction posting, general ledger maintenance, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly bank, credit card, vendor, and payroll reconciliations.
• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients, track receipts, and manage payment follow-ups.
• Financial Reporting: Compile accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial summaries, including Profit & Loss statements, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheets.
• Team Guidance & Coordination: Support accounting workflows, communicate effectively with international client teams during their business hours, and ensure a smooth handover to the day-shift team.
• Compliance & Auditing: Oversee audit prep, ensure statutory compliance, and align with international accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP / IFRS).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualification: ACCA Qualified, CA, or CA Inter Experience:
• Asst. Manager Level: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including handling independent ledgers and client portfolios.
• Manager Level: 5+ years of relevant experience, including direct oversight of accounting cycles, financial reporting, and client management.
• Shift Commitment: Full readiness to work fixed night hours (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM).
• Software Skills: High proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, financial formulas).
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for seamless overseas client interaction.
• Key Traits: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
