FirstLight Home Care of Sandy Springs is immediately hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Weekend Caregiver, CNA, PCA, or HHA to provide one-on-one care for a 90-year-old gentleman residing in an assisted living community in Buckhead, Atlanta.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caregiver seeking consistent weekend hours while making a meaningful difference in an older adult's daily routine.

About the Client

Our client is a 90-year-old gentleman who uses a walker for mobility. He requires assistance with personal care, grooming, toileting, meal setup, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living environment.

We're looking for someone who is attentive, patient, reliable, and experienced in supporting older adults while encouraging their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companionship and personal care.
• Assist with grooming and daily hygiene.
• Provide toileting assistance as needed.
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention while using a walker.
• Make the client's bed and maintain a tidy living space.
• Perform light dusting and general housekeeping.
• Clean and disinfect the bathroom.
• Empty trash and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Clean and organize the refrigerator as needed.
• Assist with opening food containers, meal setup, and serving food.
• Communicate changes or concerns promptly to the FirstLight office and care team.

Bathing assistance is not required during these weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with elderly clients strongly preferred.
• CNA, PCA, HHA, or professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience assisting with toileting, grooming, mobility, and fall prevention.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
• Comfortable working in an assisted living community.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be available every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
